Sunday, May 20th, is a 'limited contest' open to all competitors that have not been down the fence in competition, or who have not competed down the fence in ten years. Our Judge is Debby Sanguinetti. This day is limited to 20 riders. AQHA rules for Ranch Horse Versatility apply at this Sunday competition, with two exceptions. The Sunday Ranch Cutting class is simplified to boxing a single cow, which is then penned. The Ranch Horse class is also simplified to running a reining pattern and then roping a dummy calf. The Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail and Ranch Halter classes are unchanged. This day will give riders new to these classes an opportunity to participate and gain skills, at a reduced fee and with less stress.
